Business Development Manager

This role is responsible for the development of Club Penguin's global distribution network. This includes identifying opportunities and developing solutions using effective distribution channels and partnerships.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Through evaluation of the on-line landscape, identify new business opportunities and strategies for Club Penguin

Identify new distribution partners for Club Penguin, initiate business and product discussions, close negotiations, and build plans

Leverage the value of Disney to maximize Club Penguin's exposure and business value in the internet marketplace where relevant

Build business cases that support revenue targets and/or Club Penguin strategies

Establish methods to monitor success of new and existing partnerships

 

Qualifications:

 

University graduate in related field

Minimum 5 - 7 years relevant work experience

Language - English, other languages a plus

Software - Microsoft Office

 

Skills and Abilities:

 

Ability to initiate and drive ideas and projects

A self-starter and an independent worker

Strong communication skills via phone and email

Ability to think creatively and problem-solve

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in entrepreneurial environment within a large, established organization

Outstanding attention to detail, and organizational abilities
