Creative Lead
Coordinate creative input across the Walt Disney Company (TWDC) on the development of Disney Online Studios (DOS) products taking into consideration: global markets; brand synergy with other DOS products; innovation in technology; and the spirit of the community. Continue to oversee the evolution and development of the creative aspects of DOS products as they are produced.
Responsibilities:
Guide the creative mandate for DOS products.
Facilitate the creativity of teams. Create fun and productive forums to encourage and facilitate the sharing of ideas for DOS products.
Innovative and fresh on "what matters to an 8-year old". Seek out creative and original ways to listen to the "8-year old". Share information that sparks ideas, inspires conversation, and infuses the game with input for current and new audiences.
Keep clear communication lines with management and teams. Be the glue and conduit for information on the creative aspects for DOS products.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education preferred. Game Design diploma or degree would be an asset.
5+ years experience in creative lead or game design.
2+ years management experience.
Experience in the children's entertainment industry preferred.
Fluent in English.

Demonstrated understanding of the technical, business, and artistic needs of interactive development.
Excellent communication skills, including interpersonal and written.
Understanding of global markets and sensitivity towards cultures.
Able to present ideas clearly, concisely and creatively to senior management.

Exemplifies and implements "leave your ego at the door".
Solid understanding of the project management and software development life cycle.
Excellent knowledge of the children's gaming and entertainment industry.
Experience with studying and interpreting the play habits and patterns of children.
