Global Quality Assurance Team Coordinator

Organize quality assurance (QA) tasks, priorities and documentation for the Global teams for all online / in-game localization testing for their language in order to ensure a safe, consistent and positive experience for the audience online in their culture.

 

Responsibilities:


Effectively communicate daily project expectations and testing priorities to global QA teams as their single point person for questions/feedback.

Constant communication with global teams to ensure clear tasks and priorities are delivered and followed.

Cultural sensitivity is factored into communication with global offices.

Teams have all the information in a timely and clear manner to complete their tasks.

Communication is regular, accurate and supportive.

Create and distribute global test plans to global QA testers as their single point person for questions/feedback.

Monitor global QA bugs in the bug database; being the point person for reassigning issues to internal production/technology teams, and escalating urgent bug fixes where necessary.

Organize and document any standardized QA processes and methodologies in a central repository to ensure they are easily located and followed by the global QA teams.

Ensure maximum transparency on progress of all projects and dependencies through effective communication with Club Penguin business units, project management team and the QA dept.

Works with Global Production Coordinator to streamline production priorities and ensure production remains on track with translation/QA timelines.

Communicate regularly with Web and In-game Build Engineers as well as QA Team Lead to stay on top of what is “ready for global QA” in order to set priorities.

Act as the global QA advocate in info, design, and production meetings.

Track all QA global sign-offs daily per feature and language; update info in internal data repository.

Coordinate and schedule all QA training for any global QA.

 

Qualifications:


Bachelors Degree or equivalent post-secondary education.

Minimum 1 year in any QA &/or Production environment (or equivalent).

Good knowledge of Production &/or QA work-flow.

Administrative experience.

Experience working with remote/international teams preferred.

Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs (Mac/PC) including MS Outlook and MS Visio.

Basic understanding of internal wikis/Confluence.

Fluent in English.
