Software Engineer, Customer Support Tools
The Software Engineer is responsible for developing and enhancing Disney Online Studios' customer support tools using the Flex 3 SDK.
Responsibilities:
Enhance internal customer support tools for Disney Online Studios products.
Implement new designs and/or improve on existing designs for customer support tools.
Implement well designed, highly scalable and reusable web components.
Third party integrations as required.
All other duties as assigned by the Manager, Software Engineering.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) or similar.
Fluent in English.
Skills and Abilities:
1+ years Flex 3 SDK experience.
2+ years ActionScript 3 experience.
Strong OOP programming and software background.
Strong user interface design.
Experience with web services and RPC.
Experience with PHP and Javascript recommended.
Experience with automated testing an asset.
Database experience an asset.
