Senior QA Game Tester
Test and verify that all Club Penguin website, mini-games and entire on-line presence conforms to Club Penguin quality standards ensuring a proper translation and a safe, consistent and positive experience for the kids online.
Responsibilities:
Test new game features and report back to the local Development Team changes that need to be made.
Test new features outside game (where applicable) and report back to the appropriate team leader the changes that need to be made.
Upload all new content to live.
Create and maintain the QA Team schedule of testing and updates
Qualifications:
Post secondary education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous industry experience
A basic knowledge of programming and Flash
Minimum 2 years of experience in QA game testing
Speaks - English and French. Must have a strong grasp of English language, and the ability to ensure text has been translated without losing meaning.
Skills and Abilities:
An excellent understanding of the English language
High attention to detail
Organized and efficient time management skills
Ability to organize and oversee groups of children
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
Experience with working to deadlines and the ability to work under pressure
Ability to effectively manage a team
Ability to observe and analyze the play patterns of children
