Associate Web Manager

The Associate Web Manager would be the main point of contact with the Manager, Brand and provide leadership and day-to-day operation of the Club Penguin Web Development Team. The person will also oversee the design and technical aspects of the Club Penguin website while liaising with Programming Team.

Responsibilities:

Weekly team meetings:

- Plan meetings.
- Review/conduct meetings.
- Conduct follow-up.

Planning and organization:

- Growth opportunity research.

Design:

- Contribute to planning, execution, and refining of design concepts relating to website.

Implementation:

- Delegating implementation of designs and projects where appropriate.
- Oversight of implementation project status and input on implementation strategy.

Maintenance:

- Continual improvements to categorical areas of the website.
- Assimilating cumulative research and information gathering into ongoing upgrades.

Professional development/ research:

- Competitive research into development opportunities for the website organization.
- Personal/professional development.

Communications:

- In person communications, email communications, instant messaging, telephone etc.

Team Management:

- Conduct performance reviews for team members.
- Partake in the hiring of new employees and changes to the team.
- Keep track of the department’s budget.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in related field.

3-6 yrs Web site development & design.

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, SVN, MS Office.
