Partners in the Horn of Africa
Partners in the Horn of Africa works in Ethiopia, focusing on the areas of greatest need - infrastructure improvement, health & welfare and women's anti-poverty projects. They use a unique operating model for aid to developing countries: 100% of all donations go directly to aid projects in Ethiopia and their African Partner (usually an indigenous charity or a village) is required to contribute 15 to 20% of project costs.
War Child
By focusing on improving education, strengthening children's rights, reducing poverty and fostering self-reliance, War Child provides opportunities and long term solutions for war-affected children. The organization works in partnership with local people and organizations around the world to build sustainable programming that empowers children and their communities.
Partners In Health
Over the past 20 years, Partners in Health has brought education and access to high-quality health care to more than two million of the world's poorest and most vulnerable people. Their goals are prevention of disease, and providing ongoing access to primary and free health care for the poor.
Wildlife Conservation Network
Wildlife Conservation Network (wildlifeconservationnetwork.org) works to protect endangered species and habitats by supporting conservationists who demonstrate the spirit of entrepreneurship through innovative projects.
Rare

Playground Builders
For Playground Builders, hope is a group of exuberant kids playing on a newly constructed playground. We are dedicated to building hope from the ground-up in war-torn areas such as Afghanistan and Iraq. Working with local businesses and non-profit organizations, we help create spaces where kids can be kids, communities can feel empowered and new possibilities can find a strong foundation.
