Your enthusiasm and participation in Coins for Change 2007 supports a small rural Kipsigi village in Kenya (with just 256 families and 911 kids) to improve school for their children, gain access to health care and helps mothers learn new ways to earn money so their kids don't have to work. Funding supported:
- 12 new classrooms
- A clean water supply at the school
- A library and community centre
- Teacher accommodations
- 6 latrines
- A kitchen and cafeteria
- 2 community gardens with fencing
- A lunch program for kids
- Sports equipment
- Training for teachers
- Health kits that help stop the spread of disease.
