Funding for a legal defense program for women and children in Northern Uganda is helping protect kids after they have escaped from rebel groups, which force them to be child soldiers and slaves. Ugandan lawyers and paralegals now manage up to 400 cases per year. This donation also provides training for judges and law enforcement.

In addition, radio broadcasts that raise awareness about women and children’s rights now reach more than 20,000 people.
