Mancala

  • Where: In the Newsroom, above the Coffee Shop in the Town

    Instructions:

    • The aim of the game is to collect as many stones as you can into your Mancala
    • Take turns with another player
    • Click on the groups of stones on your side of the board
    • Stones will move one by one into the spots around the board
    • Example: If the group you click on has four stones, one stone will move into each of the next four spots
    • If the last stone goes in to your Mancala, you get a second turn
    • If your last stone goes into an empty spot, you capture all the stones from the other player's opposite spot
    • The game ends when one player has no more stones on their side
    • The player with the greatest total of stones in their Mancala, and on their side wins
    • For help, read the instructions on the wall of the Newsroom


    Tips and Tricks:

    • Mouse over the stones to see how many are in each spot
